Q <br />ORDINANCE NO. 53A <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 53, PASSED BY THE THEN <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL ON AUGUST 10, 1970. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES ORDAINS: <br />SECTION I. <br />1-1 <br />The words in Section 1 of Ordinance No. 53, passed by the then Village <br />Council on August 10, 1970, as follows: "...including therein the Minnesota <br />Individual Sewage Disposal Code, as Appendix E..." is hereby amended by <br />the same being deleted and by replacing the same with the following: <br />SECTION 1A, CODE ADOPTED. <br />The 1971 edition of the Minnesota Individual Sewage Disposal System <br />Code of Minimum Standards recommended by the Minnesota Department of Health <br />is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this Ordinance as if <br />fully set forth herein, one copy of which shall be kept on file at all <br />times in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurere and open to inspection <br />at regular office hours. <br />SECTION II. <br />SECTION I of said Ordinance No. 53 is hereby further amended by adding <br />'\thereto the following: <br />SECTION L, Licensing, regulation and required reporting of work on <br />existing individual sewage disposal systems by Sewage Tank Cleaners and <br />others. <br />Subdivision 1, Definition <br />"Sewage Tank Cleaner" shall mean any person, firm or corporation who, <br />as a business, cleans or performs work on a privy, vault, septic tank, cess- <br />pool, or other part of an individual sewage disposal system within the City <br />of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />Subdivision 2, License, Bond, and Insurance Required. <br />The same license, bond, and insurance required in Section E of Section <br />I of Ordinance 53 shall be required of all Sewage Tank Cleraners; however, <br />the license, bond and insurance shall include the services performed by <br />Sewage Tank Cleaners, if a person, firm or corporation has or shall have <br />such license, bond and insurance required by'said Section E. <br />Subdivision 3. Removing Material from Individual Sewage Disposal Systems. <br />No Sewage Tank Cleaner, or any other person, firm or corporation shall <br />empty or remove the materials or contents, or any portion thereof, of any <br />vault,privy, cesspool, septic tank or drain, or of any other part of any <br />/individual sewage disposal system other than into a container made tight <br />and closely covered. <br />Subdivision 4. Disposal of Contents. <br />No Sewage Tank Cleaner or any other person, firm, or corporation shall <br />
