6-s <br />ORDINANCE NO. 53B <br />CITY_ OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 53A, PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />ON AUGUST 8, 1977, BY REQUIRING EITHER PUMPING OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL <br />PRIVY VAULT, SEPTIC TANK AND CESSPOOL OR THE OFFICIAL INSPECTION <br />THEREOF EVERY FOUR (4) YEARS, SETTING A FEE FOR THE PERMITS HEREIN <br />REQUIRED AND AMENDING SUBDIVISION 11 HEREOF. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, ordains: <br />I. <br />Ordinance No. 53A, passed by the City Council on August 8, <br />1977, is hereby amended as follows: <br />A. By adding thereto Section 8A., which shall be as follows: <br />Every individual privy vault, septic tank and cesspool <br />in the City of Lino Lakes shall be pumped, and the <br />contents thereof removed in accordance with the pro- <br />visions hereof, at least once during every four (4) <br />year interval, commencing with the date of the effective- <br />ness of this Ordinance; in lieu of such pumping during <br />such four year interval each such individual unit shall <br />be inspected by the city plumbing inspector, or other <br />person designated to do so by the City Council. If such <br />inspector or other designated person reports to the City <br />Clerk -Treasurer that such individual unit is functioning <br />properly and meets applicable City and State codes, then <br />pumping thereof shall not be required; however, if such <br />inspector or other designated person reports to the City <br />Clerk -Treasurer that such individual unit is not <br />functioning properly and in accordance with City and <br />State codes, then the City Clerk -Treasurer shall, in <br />writing, notify the owner of such fact and the owner <br />shall correct the nonconforming problem existing in such <br />individual unit within 30 days from the date of mailing <br />of such notice, all to the satisfaction of such inspector <br />or designated person to comply with City and State codes. <br />B. By adding thereto Subd. 12, which shall be as follows: <br />A fee, in the sum of $2.00, or other price as established <br />from time to time by the City Council by resolution, <br />a copy of which shall be kept on file in the office of the <br />
