ORDINANCE NO. 65A
CITY OF LINO LAKES
COUNTY OF ANOKA
STATE OF MINNESOTA
ON ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 65, REGULATING THE KEEPING OF
DOGS IN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES.
The Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota,
ordains:
SECTION I
Ordinance No. 65, of the City of Lino Lakes, passed by the
City Council on April 26, 1976, is hereby amended by adding the
following:
Section 2A. CERTAIN DOGS NOT CONSIDERED AS RUNNING AT LARGE.
The only exception to the foregoing restriction on dogs running at
large shall be that the City Council may issue an annual permit to
an applicant to allow a dog or dogs to run at large only on the
lands of the owner or tenant and only if such is necessary for the
primary use of such lands for agricultural pursuits and to protect
a minimum of five (5) domestic animals. Such permit shall contain
specific limitations as to such allowance to run at large and any
violation thereof shall be grounds to withdraw such permit after
a hearing thereon; however, as long as such permit is effective and
in force and such running at large is within the requirements of the
permit and otherwise complies with this Ordinance, such shall not be
considered as running at large and shall not be a violation of this
Ordinance.
SECTION II
Save for the foregoing amendment, said Ordinance No. 65 shall
stand and be effective as adopted.
