April 28, 1980 <br />Council Meeting <br />Page Ten <br />The amendments were accepted and seconded. Motion carried unanmously. <br />Mayor Gourley reminded Mr. Olson there will be a review on this permit one <br />year from July. <br />;The nest item on the agenda was the application of MarDon Homes for rezoning. <br />There was no one present to represt the company. Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to <br />table until a representative was present. Mayor Gourleyasked to amend to <br />table this until a Letter of Credit was revceived. Seconded by Mr. McLean. <br />Motion carried unanimosuly. <br />A special Use permit for the placing of a mobile home on private property had <br />been submitted by Mrs. I11g. Mr. Schumacher reported this special use permit <br />had been requested by the Council to be processed through the normal channels. <br />The Ordinance governing the placement of mobile homes within this City was <br />reviewed. <br />This proposal was to place this mobile home on five acres abutting Pine Street, <br />for a period of five years The Planning and Zoning Board had recommended <br />this request be denied. <br />Mr. McLean moved to deny this request. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Anoka County Historical Society had requested funds. Mr. McLean moved tc <br />table this until budget hearings. Seconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion <br />carried with Mayor Gourley voting, No. <br />Consideration of the Hand Bill Ordinance as presented by Mrs. Elsenpeter. <br />1rs. Elsenpeter moved to table. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />nanimously. <br />Considertion of Susan Sears to the vacancy on the Park Board. Mrs. Elsenpeter <br />moved to approve this appointment. Mr. Schumacher explained brief%y. <br />Mayor Gourley said he had gone through this report and found no problems. 7e <br />Mr. Schumacher pointed out that over $40,000.00 in interest has been earned <br />the first quarter of this year. There was discussion op the different aspectsr <br />of this report, with Mr. Schumacher explaining the discrepancies. <br />Under new business, the subject of a mining permit fee was discussed. Th re <br />had been a mining permit fee schedule set up by Resolution - $100.00 plus <br />15C per yard; (5/29/73 - 8/28/72). <br />The next request was from the Fire Chief in Lexington who had suggested an <br />open house to view the fire fighting equipment. The request is for this <br />Council to select a date for this function. This was set for May 18, 198' <br />from 1:00 P.M. Mr. Schumacher will set this up. <br />The Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts spent the week end cleaning up the <br />road sides. Mayor Gourley will find who the letter should be addressed ani <br />inform the Clerk.
