ORDINANCE NO. 74 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AFFECTING STOPPING, STANDING AND PARKING OF MOTOR VEHICLES UPON <br />PUBLIC STREETS, ALLEYS AND HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF LINO .LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, <br />ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, may <br />regulate or prohibit motor vehicle stopping, standing, parking or traffic on <br />streets, alleys or other public highways within the City of Lino Lakes. <br />SECTION 11. <br />Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 169, as same governs such stopping, standing <br />or parking or traffic on streets, alleys or other public highways is hereby <br />adopted by reference, and-one:copy,thereof shall be kept on file in the office <br />of the City Clerk -Treasurer, and shall be available for inspection at normal <br />business hours. <br />SECTION 111. <br />The presence of a motor vehicle in or upon any public street, alley or <br />highway in the City of Lino Lakes, stopped, standing or parked in violation <br />of this ordinance, shall be prima facie evidence that the person in whose <br />name such motor vehicle is registered as owner committed or authorized the <br />commission of such violation and any law enforcement officer may have such <br />motor vehicle towed and impounded. <br />SECTION 1V. <br />The violation of this ordinance shall be deemed to be a petty misde- <br />meanor and subject to a fine of not to exceed $100.00. <br />SECTION V. <br />This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its passage and <br />publication according to law. <br />Passed by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, this 9th day of June, 1980. <br />ATTE,fi T:: <br />Edna L.Sa-rrar <br />K nneth Gourley, Mayor <br />City CI-erk-Treasuref <br />(SEAL) <br />
