SAMPLE
COMPUTERIZED PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
This preventive maintenance program allows the flexibility to customize the system
to meet the needs of a particular building or site. Information and reports can be up
ranging from basic to detailed.
The initial database set up requires the most amount of work. Each piece of
equipment to be included in the program must be cataloged and tagged with an
identification system that will become the basis of the program. Once this is
complete, all the information collected is entered into the computer, and each item
(or piece of equipment) is assigned a labor type, a work description, a location, and
a maintenance schedule. This provides the "heart" of the program, but the system
can always be fine tuned as time goes on to keep up with changes or
improvements in the property.
This binder contains examples of the basic reports that are generated by the
program. These samples were taken at random from an active system currently
being used.
To demonstrate the capabilities of the system, a list of components and features
are listed on the following page.
