EDA MINUTES January 13, 2014 <br />DRAFT <br />1 <br />DATE : January 13, 2014 <br />TIME STARTED : 7:00 p.m. <br />TIME ENDED : 7:05 p.m. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT : Commissioners Kusterman, Roeser, <br /> Reinert, Rafferty, Stoesz <br />MEMBERS ABSENT : None <br />OTHERS PRESENT: : Administrator Jeff Karlson; City Clerk Julie <br /> Bartell <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by President Roeser. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES OF AUGUST 26, 2013 <br /> <br />EDA Member Rafferty moved to approve the August 26, 2013 minutes. EDA Member Stoesz <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CONSIDERATION OF ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS <br /> <br />Jeff Karlson, City Administrator, informed the members that each year the EDA is required to <br />hold an annual meeting and make a number of appointments; the list was before the authority for <br />consideration. EDA member Rafferty moved the appoint EDA Member Roeser as president, <br />EDA Member Stoesz as vice president and EDA Member Kusterman as treasurer. EDA member <br />Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />EDA member Rafferty moved to approve other appointments as outlined in the staff report. EDA <br />Member Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />EDA President Roeser noted that with economic development activities picking up in the city, he <br />anticipates there may be more EDA meetings in 2014. <br /> <br />There being no further business, EDA Member Reinert moved to adjourn. EDA Member <br />Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br /> <br />
