13 i V I' 1 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 84 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE DECLARING A MORATORIUM ON ALL PLATTING OUTSIDE THE <br />DESIGNATED SEWER AREA WITHIN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, <br />State of Minnesota, has conducted studies and has held a scheduled <br />hearing for the purpose of considering amendments of its Comprehensive <br />Plan, and <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has received the Lino Lakes Com- <br />prehensive Plan and is in the process of reviewing such for compliance <br />with the Metropolitan Development Guide, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council hereby determines that further plats <br />within the City of Lino Lakes without the benefit of said approved <br />Comprehensive Plan is deemed to be detrimental to the lives and pro- <br />perty of the owners thereof and others, and <br />WHEREAS, Platting outside the designated sewer area would be detri- <br />mental in some areas to the extension of essential services, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary that a moratorium be <br />declared on development on said land for the immediate preservation <br />of health and safety to allow consistency with the proposed plan. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka <br />County, Minnesota, ordains: <br />A moratorium is hereby declared on all plats outside the designated <br />sewer districts within the City of Lino Lakes. <br />This moratorium shall remain in effect until the Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment is approved by the Metropolitan Council and the passage of <br />90 days thereafter, or one year from the date hereto, whichever is <br />less. <br />This ordinance shall become effective and in full force after its <br />publication according to law. <br />Passed by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th Day of <br />August, 1981. <br />F.
