STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO.-87 <br />AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE OPERATION OF MOTOR VEHICLES <br />WITHIN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, County of Anoka, <br />State of Minnesota, does ordain: <br />Section 1. Definitions. <br />Subdivision 1. Motor Vehicle. "Motor Vehicle" means every <br />device in, upon, or which any person or property is or may <br />be transported which is self-propelled, except devices moved <br />by human power or used exclusively upon stationary rails or <br />tracks, including, but not limited to, snowmobiles and <br />motorcycles. <br />Subdivision 2. Public Property. "Public Property" is lands <br />which include, without limitation, parks and school grounds, <br />recreational areas, 'streets, sidewalks, public easements, <br />golf courses, trailways, cemeteries, and other similar <br />areas. <br />Section 2. <br />No motor vehicles shall be driven across or upon any private <br />property without permission of the owner or occupant thereof, <br />express or implied. <br />Section 3. <br />It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any motor <br />vehicle upon public property other than a paved surface <br />designated for vehicular use or upon a path or area designated <br />by appropriate signs permitting such use. <br />Section 4. <br />Any person who operates any motor vehicle within the City in <br />such a manner as to indicate either a willful or wanton <br />disregard for the safety of others or property is guilty of <br />reckless driving. <br />Section 5. <br />Any person who operates any motor vehicle in such a manner <br />as to carelessly or heedlessly be in disregard of the rights <br />or the safety of others is guilty of careless driving. <br />
