COUNCIL MINUTES <br />April 8, 2019 <br />APPROVED <br />127 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-42 as presented. Council Member <br />128 Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />129 <br />130 Mayor Reinert remarked that there are some clear park needs existing in the area so he'd like more <br />131 information on the planned use of the park dedication funds for this project. <br />132 6B) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. OS-199 Amending City Code Section 1007 <br />133 Related to Multiple Principal Buildings on One Parcel, in Commercial, Industrial or <br />134 Public/Semi-Public Zoning Districts — Community Development Director Grochala remarked that <br />135 this is a second reading of an ordinance that would simplify the process for single use expansion <br />136 projects. The council approved the 1st reading at their last meeting. <br />137 Council Member Maher moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. OS-19. Council Member <br />138 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />139 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the 2nd Reading and passage of Ordinance No. OS-19 as <br />140 presented. Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />141 6C) Consider 2nd Reading of Ordinance No. 06-19, Amending City Code Section 1007 <br />142 Providing for Retaining Walls in Excess of 42" in Height — Community Development Director <br />143 Grochala explained that this ordinance would amend zoning code language regarding retaining walls. <br />144 The council approved the 1st reading of the ordinance at the last meeting. <br />145 Council Member Manthey moved to waive the full reading of Ordinance No. 06-19. Council Member <br />146 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried: Yeas, 5; Nays none. <br />149 6D) Consider Resolution No. 19-43 Accepting Bids, Awarding a Construction Contract, and <br />150 Approving Construction Services Contract —City Engineer Hankee requested council approval of <br />151 a resolution auhthoring a construction contract and reviewed the elements planned for the mill and <br />152 overlay project. She noted that the contractor has done a lot of work in the City. The bids have come <br />153 through well and as a result the alternate will be done as well. <br />154 <br />155 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 1943 as presented. Council Member <br />156 Stoesz seconded the motion.
