CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-45 <br />ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT FOR WOODS EDGE PARK <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution 19-15 (Ordering the Project, Approving <br />Plans and Specifications, and Authorizing Advertisement of Bids for the Woods Edge Park <br />Project) on January 28, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on February 28, 2019. A total of seven bids were <br />received as follows; and <br />Dunaway Construction <br />$119,315.06 <br />Pember Companies, Inc. <br />$142,316.10 <br />Odesa II <br />$146,380.00 <br />GL Contracting <br />$148,851.90 <br />Blackstone Contractors <br />$167,768.00 <br />Northland Excavating <br />$184,905.75 <br />Urban Companies <br />$213,260.00 <br />WHEREAS, the bid tabulation indicates the low bidder as Dunaway Construction, <br />Columbus, MN, in the amount of $119,315.06 for the base bid plus all alternates; and <br />WHEREAS, funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the City Council hereby authorizes staff to enter into <br />a contract with Dunaway Construction for the Woods Edge Park Project. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of April, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Maher and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Maher, Manthey, SToesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, C <br />ity Clerk <br />Jeff Reinert, <br />
