Staff was directed to place this item on the May 6 work <br />session. <br />The original master plan ( completed in 1993) is attached. There are currently not any <br />approved improvement plans for Woods of Baldwin Lake Park. The replacement of the <br />playground equipment (installed in 1994) is identified in the Existing Playground <br />Equipment Inventory (attached). When funding has been secured, staff recommends <br />getting the neighborhood involved to see what ideas and priorities they have to improve <br />Woods of Baldwin Lake Park. <br />Potential funding sources include: <br />✓In 2017, the City received $12,875 in Dedicated Park fees from the Chavez <br />Preserve minor subdivision that has been designated for Woods of Baldwin Lake <br />Park <br />✓Dedicated Park Fees from potential Lyngblomsten development <br />✓Park and Trails Fund <br />✓Designated funding within a future General Fund Budget. <br />Attachments •Original master plan for Woods of Baldwin Lake Park•Existing Playground Equipment Inventory•Park and Trail Improvement Fund Summary, Dated April 30, 2019•Email Correspondence between Sarah Fisher and Rick DeGardner, dated June, <br />2018 <br />Requested Council Direction <br />For informational purposes.
