Mother inuoduoed the fol- <br />lowing resolution and moved its adoption <br />CRY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLkUI1ON NO. 97-112 <br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN 35WRH 49 <br />MTERCHANGE COMMERCIAL <br />DEVELOPMENT AREA TRUNK U11IJTlES <br />WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the <br />City Council on August 25, 1997, the City Clerk <br />was directed to prepare a proposed assessment <br />of the cost, outlined in the Development <br />Agreement for 35W/TH. 49 interchange <br />Commercial Development Area Trunk Utilities, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the City <br />Council that such proposed assessment has <br />been completed, and tied in her office for pubic <br />inspection, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE fT RESOLVED BY <br />THE CITY, COUNCIL OF UNO LAKES, MIN- <br />NESOTA: <br />1. A hearing shall be on Monday, <br />October 13, 1997, in the city hall, 1189 Main <br />Street Uno Lakes, Minnesota, at 8:30 P.M. to <br />pass upon such proposed assessment and at <br />such time and place all persons owning property <br />affected by such improvement wil be given an <br />opportunity to be heard with reference to such <br />assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause <br />a notice of the hearing on the proposed assess- <br />ment to be published once in the official news- <br />paper at least two (2) weelcs prior to the hearing, <br />and she shall state in the notice the total costs <br />of the improvement. She shall also caused <br />mated notice to be given.to the owners of each <br />parcel described in the assessment roN not less <br />than two (2) weeks prior to the hearings. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed <br />may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the County Auditor, pay the" <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment, to the <br />City Clerk except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment Is paid within <br />thirty (30) days from the adoption of the assess- <br />ment. He may at any time thereafter, pay to the <br />City Clerk the entire amount of the assessment <br />remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />December 31, of the year in which payment is <br />made. Such payment must be made before <br />November 15, or interest will be charged <br />through December 31 of the succeeding year. <br />Adopted by the Council of the Cif, of Lino <br />Lakes this 25th day of August, 1997. <br />John L.
