PRINTER'S AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />COUNCIL MEMBER O'DONNELL <br />INTRODUCED THE FOLLOWING <br />RESOLUTION AND MOVED ITS ADOPTION: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.00.95 <br />RESOLUTION FOR FEARING ON <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE <br />TRAPPER'S CROSSING 3RD ADDITION <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />Whereas, by a resolution passed by the <br />City,Council on October 9, 2000, the City Clerk <br />was directed to prepare a proposed assess- <br />ment for the Trapper's Crossing 3rd Addition <br />Improvements, and <br />Whereas, the Clerk has notified the City <br />Council that such proposed assessment has <br />been completed and filed in her office for public <br />inspection <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED <br />BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />M INNESOTA; <br />1. A bearing shall be held on Monday, <br />November 13, 2000, in the City Hail, 600 Town <br />Center Parkway, lino Lakes, Minnesota, at 6:30 <br />P.M. to pass upon such time and place all per- <br />sons owning property affected by such improve- <br />ment will be given an opportunity to be heard <br />with reference to such assessment. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to <br />cause a notice of the hearing_ on the proposed <br />assessment to be published once in the official <br />newspaper at least two (2) weeks prior to the <br />hearing, and she shall state in the notice the <br />total costs of -the improvement. She shall also <br />caused mailed notice to be given to the owners <br />of each parcel described in the sissy -moment roll <br />not Tess than two (2) weeks prior to the hear- <br />ings. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed <br />may, at any time prior to certification of the <br />assessment to the County Auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with <br />interest accrued to the date of payment, to the <br />City Clerk except that no interest shall be <br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />thirty (30) days from the adoption of the assess- <br />ment. He may at any time thereafter, pay to the <br />City Clerk the entire amount of the assessment <br />remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />December 31, of the year in which payment is <br />made. Such payment must be made before <br />November 15, or interest will be charged <br />through December 31 of the succeeding year. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes this 9th day of October; 2000. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry-Chel Gaustad, City Clerk <br />The motion for the adoption of the forgoing <br />resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Carlson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor: Bergeson, <br />Carlson, Dahl, O'Donnell, Reinert.
