<br />Council Member Dahl introduced the fol-
<br />lowing resolution and moved its adoption:
<br />CITY OF LINO LAKES
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 99 8O
<br />RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON
<br />PROPOSED NT FOR THE
<br />OSEMBESTAIRS'IMPROVEMENTS
<br />wAS, by a resokdion passed by the
<br />City on September 13, 1999, the City
<br />Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed
<br />assessment for the Gemeni Estates
<br />Improvements, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the City
<br />Council that such proposed assessment has
<br />been completed and filed in her office for pus -
<br />lie inspection.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
<br />BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES,
<br />MINNESOTA;
<br />1. A hearing shall be held on Monday;
<br />October 25, 1999, In the City Hall, 800 Town
<br />Center Parkway, Lino Lakes, Minnesota, at.
<br />8:30 P.M. to pass upon such proposed assess -
<br />merit and at such time and place all persons
<br />owning property affected by such improvement
<br />will be given an opportunity to be heard with..
<br />►eference to such assessment.
<br />2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
<br />cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed,
<br />assessment to be published once in the official
<br />newspaper at toast two (2) weeks prior to the.
<br />hearing, and she shall state in the notice the
<br />total costs of the Improvement. She shalt also
<br />cause mailed notice to be given to the owners
<br />of parcet-described in the assessnbnt roll
<br />not less than. two (2) weeks prior to the hear-
<br />ings..
<br />3. The owner of any property so assessed
<br />may, at any prior to certification of the
<br />assessment to the County Auditor, pay the
<br />whole ofthe assessment on such property,
<br />with Interest accrued to the date of payment, to
<br />the City Cleric except that no interest shall be
<br />charged if the entire assessment is paid within
<br />thirty (30) days from the adoption of the
<br />assessment. He may at any time thereafter,
<br />pay to the City Clerk the entire amount of the
<br />assessment remaining unpaid, with interest
<br />accrued to December 31, of the year in which
<br />payment is made. Such payment must be
<br />made before November 15, or interest will be
<br />charged through December 31 of the succeed-
<br />ing
<br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino'
<br />Lakes this 13th day of September, 1999.

<br />resolution was duly seconded by Council
<br />Member Neal and upon vote being taken there-
<br />on, the followktg voted in favor.

<br />duly passed and adopted.
