Lino Lakes has experienced much in the area of
23 new construction increases (80%) and median values have increased as indicated in the report. He
24 noted that he is requesting that the council enter several properties into the record to reserve the right
25 to appeal to the Anoka County Board of Equalization.
26
27 The following properties were read into the record:
28
29 Robert & Kelly Krause: 30-31-22-24-0022 $79,800 + $223,000 = $302,800 (old)
30 $7900 + $219,800 = $299,600 (new)
31
32 Cara Ciampitt: 32-31-22-14-0020 $77,200 + $196,600 = $273,800
33 $77,200 + $ 194,200 = $271,400
34
35 Bradley Blahana: 32-31-22-13-0035 $91 400 + $ 433 900 = $525 300
36 $91 400 + $ 420 800 = $ 512 200
37
38 Peggy & Richard Diehl: 27-3 1 -22- 14-0014 No Change
39
40 Mayor Reinert noted the time that all cities faced a downturn in valuations due to the economy (ten
41 years). That is now being corrected by a better economy. The city has surpassed valuations from
42 before the downturn.
43
44 Mayor Reinert remarked that the council does have the authority to lower property values. He
45 opened the floor to hear from property owners present wishing to speak.
1
