These surveys assist in <br />determining future management of the lakes. <br />Automated and manual sampling, including flow measurements on <br />targeted streams into Birch Lake. <br />Sample lakes and Lambert Creek for chloride levels. Partner with <br />Birch Lake Improvement District (BLID) for summer monitoring of <br />Birch Lake <br />Monitor chemistry of 12 of VLAWMO's takes through nutrient and <br />sediment sampling, along with pH, conductivity, and dissolved <br />oxygen (DO) measurements.
