Workshops, meetings, and <br />webinars allow VLAWMO to be on the cutting edge of <br />the water resources in the Northeast Metro. <br />Metro Watershed Partners provides monthly <br />meetings to keep updated with other watersheds, <br />receive feedback and strategy assistance, as well <br />as hear from guest speakers to enhance education <br />and outreach efforts. <br />Ramsey County GIS User Group focuses on sharing, <br />developing,and promoting GIS data and technology. <br />As a member agency, VLAWMO contributes and <br />receives data, and has a voting hand in the content <br />the Group funds and develops. Regular RCGISUG <br />membership fees go to producing aerial images of <br />Ramsey County and other GIS data. <br />Ramsey Conservation District holds informative <br />forums on topics of general concern (AIS, State <br />of the Waters, groundwater). They also provide <br />technical assistance for lake studies and BMP <br />design. Lastly,they provide financial partnership in <br />grant funding of projects. <br />Many other organizations and groups (p. 35) <br />help carry out VLAWMO's mission through events, <br />outreach strategies, and project planning. <br />r3iennial Solicitation for <br />Proposals <br />Proposals for professional auditing services and legal <br />services will be solicited for in 2020. <br />34 <br />
