CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-56 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />COST -SHARE AGREEMENT <br />IRRIGATION CONTROLLER REPLACEMENT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is proposing to replace irrigation controllers as part of the <br />City's water conservation program; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) operates an Urban Stormwater <br />Rediation (USWR) Cost -Share program for the improvement and remediation of stormwater <br />management systems in developed urban environments; and <br />WHEREAS, the RCWD has awarded the City funding in the amount, not to exceed, $41,000 for <br />the Irrigation Controller Replacement project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />approves the Cost -Share Agreement with the Rice Creek Watershed District and authorizes the <br />Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member ;af fert upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />Julia e Bartell, Cit1y Clerk <br />Jeff Reinert, / . or <br />
