CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-58 <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FUNDING FOR RICE LAKE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City Council approved Resolution No. 18-58 to provide fmancial contributions to School <br />Districts for playground structures located within the city limits; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial School District is requesting City Council consideration in the amount of <br />$20,000 for the installation of new playground equipment at Rice Lake Elementary School; and <br />WHEREAS, the Centennial School District has committed $40,000 and additional funds in excess of <br />$22,000 have been raised; and <br />WHEREAS, the $20,000 City of Lino Lakes contribution will help this project become a reality and be <br />enjoyed by students and the community for the next several years. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes approves a <br />contribution in the amount of $20,000 for the Rice Lake Elementary School Playground Equipment <br />Project. Funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Mahe' and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maher, Raft - � they, S , Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reinert, Ma <br />ATTEST: <br />Jukianne Bartell, City lerk <br />
