CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-78 <br />Approving Application for a Lawful Gambling Permit for the Chain of Lakes Rotary <br />at the 9th Annual Family Corn Roast <br />WHEREAS, the Chain of Lakes Rotary has made application for a an exempt lawful gambling <br />permit for the 9th Annual Family Corn Roast held Thursday, July 25, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the Application for Exempt Permit for the festival event for <br />concurrence with city regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a current background investigation on file that was conducted by the Public <br />Safety Department; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby approves an application for exemption for gambling permit for the <br />9th Annual Family Corn Roast. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of June, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Rafferty and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Rafferty, Manthey, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reine , mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
