CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-81 <br />APPROVING LAND ACQUISITION FROM COMCAST CCH SUBSIDIARY <br />HOLDINGS, INC., <br />WHEREAS, the City was approached by the Estate of Margaret A. Carpenter to acquire certain <br />real property located at located at 7685 Lake Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has determined it to be in the best interest of the public to purchase the <br />property for future road and redevelopment purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has reached an agreement with the Estate of Margaret A. Carpenter to <br />acquire said property. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes, that <br />the City approves the purchase of the property from the Estate of Margaret A. Carpenter. The <br />Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a purchase agreement and <br />other documents as may be necessary in order to purchase the Property. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24th day of June, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Manthey and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Manthey, Stoesz, Rafferty, Maher, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reinert V'. or <br />ATT)ST: <br />Juliapine Bartell, Ci}iy Clei <br />
