CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-93 <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE WELL HOUSE NO. 1 REHABILITATION <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Well House No. 1 <br />Rehabilitation Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br />CONTRACTOR <br />TOTAL BASE BID <br />Municipal Builders, Inc. <br />$622,494.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Municipal Builders, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br />WHEREAS, the bids received were more than the project budget as determined by the engineer's <br />estimate; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the City to reject the <br />bids and rebid the project at a later date. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The bids received are hereby rejected. The City Clerk is authorized to return the bid bonds <br />to the contractors. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 22nd day of July, 2018. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor there <br />Rafferty, Manthey, Maher, SToesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />ATTEST: <br />e Bartell, C.
