Council <br />123 Member Stoesz asked if the work has been done already and City Engineer Hankee confirmed that it <br />124 has been completed. <br />125 <br />126 Council Member Rafferty noted that he lives in the area and he's heard many positive things from the <br />127 neighbors about the work of City Engineer Hankee. <br />128 Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 19-97 as presented. Council Member <br />129 Rafferty seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />130 6B) Consider Resolution No. 19-1049 Accepting Quotes and Awarding a Construction Contract <br />131 for the 2019 Trail Project — City Engineer Hankee said the City has received quotes for this project. <br />132 She reviewed the project elements. Two quotes were received and staff proposes to award the <br />133 construction contract to the low quoter, Bituminous Roadways, Inc. She noted the funding source. <br />134 <br />135 Council Member Manthey asked for an explanation of the root barriers that will be installed for the <br />136 Snow Goose Trail. Ms. Hankee said there are different types of barriers and this will be plastic and <br />137 will provide protection to the trail. The date October 25th is proposed for completion. <br />138 <br />139 Council Member Stoesz asked how residents will be informed? Ms. Hankee remarked that a <br />140 neighborhood wide mailing would seem appropriate in this case. <br />141 <br />142 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 19-104 as presented.
