COUNCIL MINUTES February 25 , 2019 DRAFT 3 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 19-22 as presented. Council Member 89 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 90 6C) Consider Resolution No. 19-21 Ordering the Project, Approving the Plans and 91 Specifications, and Authorizing the Ad for Bid, 2019 Mill and Overlay Project – City Engineer 92 Hankee reviewed the plans for this year’s (annual) project. The roads chosen for this year’s project 93 are based on the City’s Pavement Management Program as well as other considerations. She noted 94 the areas that would be included (including an alternate area if that is possible within the budget/bids) 95 and the budget for this year. 96 Council Member Stoesz recalled that the Fire Station lot was done not so long ago. Ms. Hankee said 97 she doesn’t have the date of the last parking lot work there but this project includes the entire parking 98 lot and staff feels that is appropriate. 99 Council Member Rafferty received assurance that residents will be well aware of the schedule for this 100 work. 101 102 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 19-21 as presented. Motion carried on a voice vote. 104 105 6D) Consider Resolution No. 19-18 Approve License For Utility to Cross Agreement with 106 Minnesota DNR, West Shadow Lake Area Improvement Project – City Engineer Hankee noted 107 the requirement for a permit from the DNR for this project; along with the agreement a license is 108 required. She noted the cost and term of the license agreement. 109 110 Council Member Stoesz remarked that the agreement notes an “attached map” which was not 111 included; staff will provide that information to the council. 112 113 Council Member Manthey moved to approve Resolution No. 19-18 as presented. Council Member 114 Stoesz seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 115 6E) Land Acquisition, NE Lino Lakes Drainage Area Improvements, Diane Hankee 116 i. Consider motion to close meeting for Discussion of Offers for Land Acquisition 117 Council Member Rafferty moved to close the meeting in order to discuss the properties at 75xx Peltier 118 Drive and 7482 Peltier Drive. Council Member Maher seconded the motion.
