If Clay, pond
volumes may be changed, so should talk to City Engineer about calcs.

• Pond outlet pipe needs to be evaluated by our City Engineers so that back
yard runoff is captured into the drainage through a closed pipe system
Engineering issue
• A liner for the pond should be evaluated for retaining water for irrigation
purposes and preventing lateral water movement after storm events.
Developer has indicated that they will use a liner. What kind of a liner ?
• Irrigation design should consider a valve to shut off native prairie areas if
water gets low in the pond.
• A maintenance agreement should be submitted for the pond
• A 25 foot wetland buffer should be established.
Provided in the latest submittal
• Wetland buffer signs should be placed around the wetland buffer.
Provided in the latest submittal
• Prairie area plantings should be a lower profile seed mix with enhanced forbs
added. This comment was intended more for the residents visual perspective.
• Flower gardens should be designed into the” Commons Area”.
Addressed in comments
Environmental
