CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1E <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Lisa Hogstad-Osterhues, Deputy Clerk <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: May 13, 2019 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 19-55, Approving a Peddler License for <br /> Aptive Environmental, LLC Pest Control <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />A representative from Aptive Environmental, LLC Pest Control, 5251 West 73rd Street, <br />Suite C, Edina, MN has submitted a peddler’s license application to the city clerk's <br />office. <br />The company representatives who will be working in Lino Lakes are: Nicholas <br />Farnsworth, Wyatt Meng, Harrison Wood, Charles Wood, Nicholas Abplanalp, Lucas <br />Farnsworth Adrien Pelletier, Hunter Burton, Levi Cunningham, Jaden Sitterud, Kendrick <br />Frisby, Connor Kemp, Garrett Taylor, Benjamin Burden, Clarence Spencer, Brady <br />Abbott, Richard Brooks and Taylor Pass. <br />The company representatives plan to travel through Lino Lakes’ neighborhoods going <br />door to door offering pest control services to interested potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed a background check and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the city clerk's office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Approve Resolution No. 19-55, approving the issuance of a Peddler License for a six <br />month period beginning on May 14, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
