CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-56 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RICE CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />COST-SHARE AGREEMENT <br />IRRIGATION CONTROLLER REPLACEMENT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes is proposing to replace irrigation controllers as part of the <br />City’s water conservation program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) operates an Urban Stormwater <br />Rediation (USWR) Cost-Share program for the improvement and remediation of stormwater <br />management systems in developed urban environments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the RCWD has awarded the City funding in the amount, not to exceed, $41,000 for <br />the Irrigation Controller Replacement project. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cou ncil of the City of Lino Lakes hereby <br />approves the Cost-Share Agreement with the Rice Creek Watershed District and authorizes the <br />Mayor and City Clerk to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of May, 2019. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br />
