CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION May 6, 2019 <br />DRAFT <br />8 <br />11.Council Updates on Boards/Commissions – 314 <br />Council Member Rafferty provided a short update on the Vadnais Lakes Area Water 315 <br />Management Organization (VLAWMO). 316 <br />317 <br />Council Member Stoesz remarked that North Metro Television is discussing the franchise 318 <br />agreement. 319 <br />320 <br />12. Monthly Progress Report – Administrator Karlson updated the council on the321 <br />status of the White Bear Lake lawsuit and provide an employment update. More 322 <br />information will be provided on the Environmental Coordinator position. 323 <br />324 <br />13. Review Regular Agenda – The agenda was reviewed and there were no changes.325 <br />326 <br />There was discussion on the matter of funding for school playground equipment (Item 327 <br />3A). Administrator Karlson asked the council review the resolution which revises 328 <br />previous action. 329 <br />330 <br />Item 5A, Funding for Rice Lake Elementary School Playground Project – Council 331 <br />Member Rafferty remarked that legal review is important.
