<br /> Anoka County 2019 <br />Multi-Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br /> <br /> 70 <br />Spring Lake Park has two State Highways: they are Highway 47 and Highway 65 that run north <br />and south. Anoka County Road 10 runs east and west through the northern portion of Spring <br />Lake Park. Spring Lake Park District #16 covers the City of Spring Lake Park and has its district <br />offices within the city limits. Spring Lake Park High School/ Lighthouse School are located <br />centrally in Spring Lake Park near Hwy 65 and 81st Ave Ne. Park Terrace Elementary is also <br />located in the city near 83rd Ave and Terrace Rd. The City is also home to an early child hood <br />development school. <br /> <br />The City has 186 acres of public land within the City. These areas include churches, schools, <br />city offices, public work facilities, and fire stations. Within the City, there is 39 acres of public <br />parks. Spring Lake Park does not have a wide range of commercial businesses. Commercial <br />businesses in the city either attempt to capture pass-by traffic along Highway 65, County Road <br />10 and University Avenue, or they are destination businesses. Light industrial businesses are <br />located east of Highway 65. <br /> <br />The City of Spring Lake Park has no medical facilities, but neighboring communities Fridley and <br />Coon Rapids do. Xcel Energy provides area electricity and Center Point Energy provides area <br />gas. The city provides the sewer and water systems. The City of Spring Lake Park consists of a <br />City Administrator, Mayor and four Council members. <br />
