<br /> Anoka County 2019 <br />Multi-Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br /> <br /> 161 <br />Emergency Manager to develop, manage and execute disaster plans in order to protect lives <br />and property from disasters. <br /> <br />Emergency Staff to assist the Emergency Manager in the execution of Emergency Management <br />duties. <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to and provide emergency medical services to <br />community populations. <br /> <br />Emergency Medical Service – First Response to respond to medical emergencies and support <br />the Emergency Medical Technicians. <br /> <br />Fire Service to respond to all fire events to protect lives and property. <br /> <br />Flood Plain Manager to manage floodplains and flood information and provide that information <br />to appropriate officials for enforcement purposes. <br /> <br />GIS and/or Hazus provides mapping information to jurisdictions that identifies hazard areas and <br />asset and facility location, value, etc. information to appropriate officials. <br /> <br />Government Administrative is jurisdiction employees that provide internal and community <br />products and services. <br /> <br />Government Elected is elected jurisdiction officials that manage the jurisdiction. <br /> <br />Grant Writer is a position that works with the community and officials to identify and apply for <br />grants to mitigate hazards. <br /> <br />Hazard Risk Assessor is a position that analyzes potential hazards that may affect jurisdictions <br />and identifies vulnerabilities to those hazards. <br /> <br />HAZMAT Team is a team of certified personnel with training and equipment authorized to <br />mitigate hazardous material spills and releases. <br /> <br />Land Use Management is a position that develops, manages and enforces land management <br />practices that mitigate disasters. <br /> <br />Law Enforcement is agencies and personnel that are trained and equipped to maintain law and <br />order, etc. for jurisdictions. <br /> <br />Medical Personnel are trained and equipped medical persons (public or private) that respond to <br />and provide medical services. <br /> <br />Public Communications are communications in place to provide alert and warning of disaster <br />events as well as ongoing communications during disaster events. <br /> <br />Public Works/Utilities are organizations that provide street/road maintenance, shoreline <br />maintenance and deliver utility services to jurisdictions. <br /> <br />Surveyor is a position that provides surveying services to jurisdictions. <br />
