CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-117 <br />APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE NOVEMBER 5, 2019 ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, a municipal and special election will be held on November 5, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.20, election judges shall be <br />appointed to serve in an election precinct and the appointing authority shall designate a judge to <br />serve as the head election judge; and <br />WHEREAS, training sessions for election judges in Lino Lakes are provided through an on- <br />line program; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.21, Subd. 2, requires appointments be made <br />before the election at which the election judges will serve; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />that the attached list of certified eligible voters are hereby appointed to serve as election judges <br />and head judges for the 2019 Election if called to do so. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of October, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_and was duly seconded by Council Member and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk
