CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-112 <br />Approving a Special Event Permit for the Alexandra House <br />Hopefest Charity Walk and Community Event <br />WHEREAS, The Alexandra House has made application for a special event permit for Hopefest <br />Charity Walk and Community Event to be held on September 28, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the application submitted for the event for concurrence with <br />city regulations; and <br />WHEREAS, The Public Safety Department has conducted a background check on the <br />Alexandra House representative and found no reason to deny; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alexandra House has submitted a certificate of liability insurance to cover this <br />event and is on file in the office of the City Clerk; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alexandra House is exempt from the license fee as they are a non-profit group; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br />Minnesota: <br />That the City Council hereby approves the special event permit application for the Alexandra <br />House Hopefest Charity Walk and Community Event. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of September, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Raffertyand was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Maher, Manthey, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Rei e , Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Jtrli-' e Bartell, City lerk <br />
