CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-115 <br />LOCAL APPROVAL OF A LAWFUL GAMBLING <br />PREMISES PERMIT FOR FIESTA CANCUN RESTAURANT <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has received a request from White Bear Lake Hockey <br />Association for a lawful gambling premise permit to conduct gambling (pull tabs, tip board, <br />paddlewheel) at Fiesta Cancun Restaurant located at 7090 21 st Avenue North. <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires the City of Lino Lakes to submit <br />a resolution to the City Council approving the premises permit application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Safety Department has conducted a background investigation and found <br />no reason to deny; and <br />WHEREAS, the White Bear Lake Hockey Association is in compliance with Chapter 611 of the <br />Lino Lakes City Code relating to Lawful Gambling; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby approves the request of the White Bear Lake Hockey Association for a Premise Permit <br />for Charitable Gambling at Fiesta Cancun Restaurant located at 7090 21 st Avenue North. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of September, 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Rafferty and was duly seconded by Council Member Stoesz and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rafferty, Stoesz, Maher, Manthey, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reine - , 'rayor <br />
