Review Regular Agenda of October 28, 2019 — <br />16 Item 3A, Ordinance relating to Small Wireless Facilities —Administrator Karlson <br />17 recalled that the council reviewed this ordinance with attorney Mike Bradley a few <br />18 months ago. He noted two changes from the last discussion: Verizon requested several <br />19 revisions and after attorney review, staff is concurring with two changes; other changes <br />20 were felt to be covered already. He noted the two changes. <br />21 <br />22 Mayor Reinert asked about what the units would look like and how they would be placed. <br />23 Items 3B and 3C, Appointment of Personnel — Human Resources Manager <br />24 Bartholomew reviewed the recommendations: <br />25 Environmental Coordinator —Andrew Nelson is recommended for appointment to fill the <br />26 vacancy that will be created by the retirement of Marty Asleson. Ms. Bartholomew <br />27 reviewed his education and experience. <br />28 Police Officer — Matthew Carlson is recommended for appointment to fill a vacant police <br />29 officer position. His education and experience were reviewed. <br />30 <br />31 Item 4A, Sale of Fire Pagers —Public Safety Director Swenson reviewed his request to <br />32 sell the system that is no longer used and obsolete under the current system. There are <br />33 three agencies in Minnesota that are interested in purchasing the units, at a cost of $200 <br />34 each. <br />35 <br />36 Item 6A, Passage of Ordinance Rezoning property for Direct Bore, Inc. (502 and <br />37 510 Lilac Street) — City Planner Larsen reviewed the rezoning request. The ordinance <br />38 was fully reviewed for first reading at the last council meeting. <br />39 <br />40 Item 6B, Watermark 2°d Addition —City Planner Larsen noted that this is the next <br />41 phase of the development, encompassing 57 units. She updated on the council on status <br />42 of phase one; some permits have been issued. <br />43 <br />1 <br />
