CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-179 <br />APPROVING LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />AND LELS, LOCAL NO. 260 FOR YEAR 2020 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local No. 260, <br />representing the sergeants, have reached a one-year agreement for 2020. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br />1) WAGES: 3% wage increase effective January 1, 2020, for all unit members. <br />2) HEALTH INSURANCE: The City saw a decrease this year and the union and City <br />shared in the decrease for 2020. All remaining provisions remain the same. <br />3) CONVERSION OF DAYS TO HOURS: Provides that all language within the labor <br />agreement reflect hours versus days. <br />4) HOLIDAY PAY: Article 13 was revised to eliminate confusion regarding holiday pay <br />language. <br />5) SEVERANCE: An employee must complete one year of service and provide two weeks <br />advance notice of resignation in order to receive vacation severance. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of December 2019. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Maher and was duly seconded by Council Member Ma n t- h Py and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Maher, Manthey, Rafferty, Stoesz, Reinert <br />The following voted against same: <br />none <br />Jeff Reinert, <br />ATTEST: <br />Julianne Bartell, City 9 erk <br />
