<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6D <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: October 28, 2019 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 19-141, Adopting Assessments, 2019 <br />Individual Properties <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration to adopt assessments for a property where the <br />owners have requested connection to City utilities and have entered into a Petition and Waiver <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />The property owners have submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights to a hearing and <br />waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lake City Charter and/or Minnesota Statute 429 <br />provided that the assessment associated with the improvement is levied against their property, or <br />they have entered into a Performance Contract with the City. We are prepared to adopt the <br />assessment for the following individual properties, which requested connection to city utilities: <br /> <br />- 7932 Lake Drive <br />- 6881 Rustic Lane <br />- 7002 West Shadow Lake Drive <br />- 7006 West Shadow Lake Drive <br />- 6994 West Shadow Lake Drive <br />- 1427 Pond View Circle <br /> <br />The total amount to be assessed is $69,205.38. Attached is the proposed assessment roll. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 19-141, Adopting Assessments, 2019 <br />Individual Properties. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
