CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 19-139 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CERTIFICATION OF DELINQUENT WATER <br />AND SEWER UTILITY CHARGES FOR COLLECTION WITH 2019 PROPERTY <br />TAXES PAYABLE IN 2020 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 401.30 and Section 402.14, Subd. 6, the Utility Billing <br />Clerk has prepared a list of properties having delinquent water and sewer charges to be certified to <br />the Anoka County Auditor for collection with 2019 property taxes, payable in 2020, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, notice of such certification was mailed to effected property owners, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has met to consider the certification of such delinquent water and <br />sewer charges. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that <br />the Clerk is hereby authorized to certify the delinquent water and sewer charges as indicated on the <br />attached listing to the Anoka County Auditor to be collected with the 2019 property taxes, payable <br />in 2020 at an interest rate of 8.00% per annum. <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28th day of October, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_____________and was duly seconded by Council Member _____________ and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />The following voted against same: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________ <br />Jeff Reinert, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Julianne Bartell, City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
