<br />CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6C <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: November 25, 2019 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 19-159, Amending Adopted Assessments, <br />2019 Individual Properties <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br /> <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration to approve the amendment to the assessment roll to <br />include an additional property where the owners have requested connection to City utilities and <br />have entered into a Petition and Waiver Agreement. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On October 28, 2019, the City Council approved Resolution No. 19-141, adopting the 2019 <br />Individual Assessment Roll. On November 12, 2019, the Individual Assessment Roll was <br />amended to include another property. Since this time, an additional individual assessment has <br />been processed. The property owners have submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights to <br />a hearing and waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lakes City Charter and/or Minnesota <br />Statute 429 provided that the assessment associated with the improvement is levied against their <br />property. We have amended the assessment roll for the following individual property, which has <br />requested connection to city utilities: <br /> <br />- 410 62nd Street <br /> <br />The amended total amount to be assessed is $84,245.14. Attached is the amended assessment <br />roll. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 19-159, Amending Adopted Assessments, <br />2019 Individual Properties. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
