Draft November 4 2019 <br /> 7. Parks Update : <br /> A. Woods Edge Park Update <br /> Rick DeGardner, Director of Public Services, updated the Park Board on the Woods <br /> Edge Park project. He stated that construction of Woods Edge Park is progressing <br /> nicely. Clearing and grubbing, tree removals , grading, draintile catch basin/storm <br /> pipe, all concrete walk, and curbing have been completed. Some additional earthwork <br /> including final grading, installing plant material, dormant seeding, and building a <br /> boulder retaining wall between the north side of play container and the concrete walk <br /> is exl)ected to be rnml)leted yet this Fall - He w-eDt on state fhat after all of That the <br /> next thing will be to order the playground equipment during the winter months and <br /> expect a spring installation. He put in an updated landscape plan in the packet (see <br /> below) . DeGardner pointed out that some of the changes are : <br /> I . Reducing the amount of retaining wall (this was based on looking at the <br /> slopes) <br /> II . Removal of a couple more trees <br /> III . Moving the stepping stones to the north of the play area a bit to create a <br /> more natural path from the play area to the landscape boulders <br /> IV .
