COUNCIL MINUTES <br />41 PUBLIC SAFETY DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />42 There was no report from the Public Safety Department. <br />43 PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT <br />44 SA) Consideration of Resolution No. 20-16, Approving Contract with Northland Recreation <br />45 Inc. for Woods Edge Park Playground Equipment — Public Services Director DeGardner <br />46 reviewed his written request to authorize a contract for playground equipment for the new Woods <br />47 Edge Park. He reviewed the location, the cost, construction award contract and the process utilized <br />48 to seek the contractor. The funding source was also noted. <br />49 Council Member Stoesz asked for a time schedule; an end of May construction dine was noted by <br />50 staff. <br />51 Council Member Ruhland asked what would not be included from the master plan — Mr. DeGardner <br />52 noted those elements and their cost of about $45,000. <br />53 Mayor Rafferty suggested that individuals could visit Northpointe Park that was recently developed <br />54 (and Sunrise Park that was improved); at those locations you could see the work of this firm. <br />55 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 20-16 as presented. Council Member <br />56 Lyden seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. <br />57 SB) Consideration of Resolution No. 20-17, Approving Sprint Spectrum L.P. Lease <br />58 Agreement — Water Tower #2 — Public Services Director DeGardner reviewed his request for <br />59 authorization to enter into a lease agreement with Sprint Spectrum for their equipment on Water <br />60 Tower 42. <br />61 Council Member Ruhland moved to approve Resolution No. 20-17 as presented. Council Member <br />62 Stoesz seconded the motion.
