<br /> 1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: February 6, 2020 <br /> <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Jim Schueller, Andrew Cravero, Chad Wagner, Thomas Colgan, <br />Nathan Vojtech, Patrick Kohler, Don Johnson <br /> <br />MEMBERS ABSENT: Julie Jeffrey-Schwartz <br /> <br />OTHERS PRESENT: Mike Grochala, Community Development Director <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order by Chair Schueller at 8:04 p.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />It was moved by Mr. Cravero to approve the minutes from November 14, 2019. The motion was <br />seconded by Mr.Wagner, passing unanimously. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION ITEMS <br />A. Centerville Road/CRJ/35E Interchange <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala, presented the staff report. The board discussed the benefits of improvement <br />to the interchange noting that the existing intersection at Centerville Road and County Road <br />J was severely conjected. Mr. Cravero expressed concern that improvement of the <br />Centerville/CRJ intersection could get delayed while seeking funding for interchange. Mr. <br />Grochala noted that Anoka County was pursuing intersection funding concurrently with the <br />interchange funding request. <br /> <br />The board unanimously to recommend support for the federal funding application. <br /> <br />B. Wetland Bank Credits <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala presented the staff report. He explained that with the recent sales of wetland <br />credits staff was searching for new banking opportunities. The board was supportive of the <br />banking program and continued search for new locations. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
