Planning & Zoning Board <br />April 8 , 2020 <br />Page 6 <br />APPROVED MINUTES <br />Mr. Grochala stated some residents may be contacted, however, Anoka County has fairly <br />flat and wide right-of-way along that entire section. There may also be a few <br />construction easements. Nevertheless, we will not know this until we progress into the <br />final design phase. <br /> <br />Mr. Evenson questioned how the area near The Tavern On Main would be addressed. <br /> <br />Mr. Grochala explained that section of the trail will be a concrete walkway approximately <br />10 feet from The Tavern On Main. <br /> <br />Ms. Peacock commented that having a separate path, rather than utilizing the shoulders <br />along Main Street, would be a good idea considering the traffic on said roadway. <br /> <br />Staff is requesting a motion from the board recommending support of the federal funding <br />application. <br /> <br />Mr. Root made a MOTION to recommend support of the federal funding application. <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />VII. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Project Updates <br /> <br />Staff provided verbal updates to the Board on current City projects. <br /> <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 7:39 p.m. Motion was supported <br />by M s. Peacock.
