ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />AGENDA ITEM 3B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jessica Eller, Community Development Intern <br />EDAC MEETING DATE: September 3, 2020 <br />TOPIC: Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes Addition PUD Final <br />Plan/Final Plat <br />REQUEST: Discussion <br />BACKGROUND <br />The applicant, Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes, LLC has submitted a land use application for PUD <br />Final Plan/Final Plat for development of Phase 1, the senior living community. <br />Lyngblomsten is proposing a 4 phased approach to redevelopment of 7 parcels totaling 20 acres <br />located in the northwest quadrant of CSAH49 (Hodgson Road) and CR J (Ash Street). The <br />proposed Lyngblomsten senior living community proposes 20 cottage homes on the north end <br />and a senior living campus on the eastern edge along CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road). Commercial <br />development on the southern portion of the site includes a restaurant and future commercial pad <br />that will be built out in the future. Future PUD Final Plans/Final Plats will be required for <br />development of the future commercial phases. <br />The Planning and Zoning Board recommended the approval of the PUD Final Plan/Final Plat for <br />Lyngblomsten at Lino Lakes Addition. <br />EDAC CONSIDERATION <br />None required.
