He noted that staff is requesting <br />31 consideration to award eight bids. He reviewed the history of council consideration of the elements <br />32 of the project. The contractors were reviewed. The project will meet eligibility requirement for <br />33 CARES Act grant funding. <br />34 Couneilmember Stoesz asked if the bids are not to exceed numbers. Mr. DeGardner confirmed. <br />35 Public Services Director DeGardner noted those contracts that were coordinated for the City and <br />36 those that were directly handled by the City. Mayor Rafferty remarked that he understands that <br />37 coordination is needed in a project like this where there are many moving pieces and a strict <br />38 deadline. <br />
