• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-15 <br />ACCEPTING BASE BID, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, WELL <br />HOUSE NO. 1 REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Well House No. 1 <br />Rehabilitation Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, one bid was <br />received from Municipal Builders, Inc. in the base bid amount of $669,900.00; and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Municipal Builders, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Municipal Builders, Inc. in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the <br />Well House No. 1 Rehabilitation Project according to the plans and specifications approved <br />by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidder the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />two lowest bidders shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of March, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Ruhland and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Stoesz, Ruhland, Cavegn, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: Lyden <br />ATTEST: <br />Julian - Bartell, C <br />ty <br />C <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />
