• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-25 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF A WATER TREATMENT <br />PLANT FEASIBILITY STUDY <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, is evaluating short, mid and long term options to reduce <br />manganese levels in the municipal water supply, and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of a Water Treatment Plant is a possible course of action for the <br />City to evaluate, and <br />WHEREAS, WSB and Associates. the City Engineer, has submitted a proposal to prepare the <br />Feasibility Study. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes: <br />1. The Water Treatment Plant Feasibility Study is hereby ordered to determine if <br />the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to <br />whether it should best be made as proposed, and at the estimated cost of the <br />improvement. <br />2. WSB and Associates are directed to prepare the Feasibility Study for Water <br />Storage in an amount not exceed $34,538. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 9th day of March, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />Stoesz and was duly seconded by Council Member Lyden and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Lyden, Stoesz, Ruhland.
