• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.20- 28 <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR FEDERAL FUNDING FOR INTERSTATE 35E & <br />COUNTY ROAD J INTERCHANGE CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution 17-115 on October 9, 2017 approving the <br />Intersection Control Evaluation (ICE) Report for Centerville Road (CSAH 21/CSAH 59) at Ash <br />Street (CR J)/Wilkinson Lake Blvd; and <br />WHEREAS, the roadways of Interstate (I) 35E, Centerville Road (CSAH 21/CSAH 59) and Ash <br />Street (CR J)/Wilkinson Lake Blvd are under the jurisdiction of multiple agencies including the <br />City of Lino Lakes, the City of North Oaks, Anoka County and Ramsey County and the <br />Minnesota Department of Transportation; and <br />WHEREAS, improvements are necessary to improve mobility, safety; and reduce traffic <br />congestion at this key interchange, and <br />WHEREAS, the interchange is a critical link for commuters with several county and city <br />roadways converging along a short stretch of roadway to access I-35E; and <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County, in coordination with Anoka County, is applying for Federal <br />Funding for the I-35E and CR J interchange improvements. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of <br />Lino Lakes that the City Council hereby supports Federal Funding for the I-35E & County Road <br />J Interchange, and the Centerville Road & County Road J Intersection Improvements. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 23rd day of March 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />Ruhland and was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz and upon vote being <br />taken thereon. the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Ruhland, Stoesz, Cavegn, Lyden, Rafferty <br />The following voted against same: None <br />ATTEST: <br />a'. e Martell, City ler <br />Rob afferty.
