• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 20-71 <br />APPROVING A PEDDLER LICENSE FOR L&G CONCESSIONS <br />WHEREAS, A Representative for L&G Concessions, has submitted a peddlers license <br />application to the city clerk's office; and <br />WHEREAS, L&G Concessions has complied with all of the provisions of Chapter 613 of the <br />Lino Lakes City Code for obtaining the necessary license; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has conducted a background check on <br />the company representative that will be working in Lino Lakes; <br />WHEREAS, L&G Concessions has written permission from John Magill, owner of the strip <br />mall located at 7997 Lake Drive. <br />WHEREAS, L&G Concessions is required to have a plan established and implement a COVID- <br />19 Preparedness Plan. Each Plan must provide for the business's implementation of Minnesota <br />OSHA Standards and MDH and CDC Guidelines. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lino Lakes City Council hereby approves <br />the request of L&G Concessions, to sell political merchandise under a canopy in the parking lot <br />located at 7997 Lake Drive commencing July 14th through August 30, 2021. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of July, 2020. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />R to h a.4Jk. and was duly seconded by Council Member t.� ,, . and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Ly d„, Rat►-i I Avid , Stu es2, 1 r if cA.4-11 <br />The following voted against same: <br />No toe — A -to --C cA j el <br />ATTEST: <br />ne Bartell, Cit Cler <br />
