• <br />• <br />• <br />1st Reading: 7/13/2020 <br />Publication: 9J4 Iz.oZo <br />2°' Reading: 7/27/2020 <br />Effective: ti 19 1 zo 20 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />ORDINANCE NO. 04-20 <br />ORDINANCE VACATING STREET EASEMENT <br />(Elmcrest Avenue) <br />The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Section l: Findings <br />1. The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate a portion of the street <br />easement as shown in Exhibit A and legally described as follows: <br />The east 33.00 feet of that part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of the <br />Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota, lying south of a line drawn parallel with and 171.74 feet south of, as <br />measured at a right angle to, the most southerly line of Parcel 11, Anoka County <br />Right of Way Plat No. 65, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of <br />record in the office of the Anoka County Recorder and Registrar of Titles and <br />lying north of a line drawn parallel with and 400.00 feet south of, as measured at a <br />right angle to, said most southerly line of Parcel 11.; and <br />2. A public hearing was held on July 13, 2020 before the City Council in the City <br />Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and <br />reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property <br />owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and <br />3. It appears to be in the best interest of the City to vacate such street easement; and <br />4. Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this ordinance. <br />Section 2: Easement Vacated <br />The street easement described herein is hereby vacated. <br />Section 3: Effect <br />This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after 30 days following its passage <br />and publication according to the Lino Lakes City. <br />
