• • • 1st Reading: 7/13/2020 Publication: 9J4 Iz.oZo 2°' Reading: 7/27/2020 Effective: ti 19 1 zo 20 CITY OF LINO LAKES ORDINANCE NO. 04-20 ORDINANCE VACATING STREET EASEMENT (Elmcrest Avenue) The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: Section l: Findings 1. The City Council of Lino Lakes has determined to vacate a portion of the street easement as shown in Exhibit A and legally described as follows: The east 33.00 feet of that part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 31, Range 22, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying south of a line drawn parallel with and 171.74 feet south of, as measured at a right angle to, the most southerly line of Parcel 11, Anoka County Right of Way Plat No. 65, according to the map or plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Anoka County Recorder and Registrar of Titles and lying north of a line drawn parallel with and 400.00 feet south of, as measured at a right angle to, said most southerly line of Parcel 11.; and 2. A public hearing was held on July 13, 2020 before the City Council in the City Hall Council Chambers after due published and posted notice had been given and reasonable attempts were made to give personal notice to all affected property owners, and all persons interested were given an opportunity to be heard; and 3. It appears to be in the best interest of the City to vacate such street easement; and 4. Four -fifths of all members of the City Council concur in this ordinance. Section 2: Easement Vacated The street easement described herein is hereby vacated. Section 3: Effect This ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after 30 days following its passage and publication according to the Lino Lakes City.
